The below Schematic Map Drawing gives a clear overview of the Historical Borders of the Nation of Bodyul, better known internationally as Tibet. The Map shows the borders of Tibet as it existed roughly between 1900 AD and 1949 AD. At the Time 'Tibet' was an independant Nation based on the ethnic and cultural unity of a variety of Tibetan Peoples (Tribes). Among them the Khampa's, the Sera, the Yugur and many more.
Additional borders depicted in thick grey lines on the Map are the National Borders of surrounding states and delineated borders of Chinese Provinces and Territories.
